First Reconciliation for Children
Preparation for celebrating the sacrament for the first time or any time after means grounding our need for forgiveness in relationships of love - love of God, love of neighbor, and love of self.
It is also important to help children understand that sin, breaking these relationships of love, is both individual and social. Like adults, as children grow in their understanding of right and wrong, they need a corresponding understanding that whatever has been done wrong, God's mercy and forgiveness remains a constant source to help us grow stronger in a Christian way of life.
Preparation sessions for the Sacrament of Reconciliation involve both children and parents and are geared for children in second grade and older.

Please see FFA Schedule for Dates of Weekly Sessions. Parent Meeting at 10:00am on 9/28/14 during which a detailed weekly session schedule will be available. Celebration of First Reconciliation will be 12/16/14 at 7:00pm in the Church.
